I wouldn't dare. This part is too critical to skimp out on. At least go for an OE manufactured part. FCP and ECS are good places to source from.

Agreed $375 for a waterpump/thermostat aftermarket kit (from FCP with lifetime warranty) is not something to skimp out on. OEM is $685. You have a BMW. Do it once. Do it right.

Rock Auto has one for $255. That can't be worse than one from a made up company with a temporary amazon storefront.
