Spec stage 3+ problems

Hi guys
I have recently installed a stage 3+ clutch, single mass flywheel with the provided throw out bearing. The bearing is now screaming after just 50 miles, has anyone else encountered something similar? Am I looking at pulling the box out again to replace the new bearing?
Thanks
Adam

Have you emailed SPEC?

I haven't come across that before and we have lots and lots of customers running that clutch. Is it possible something wasn't put together properly?

Thanks for the quick response Mike,
I have emailed spec this morning and just waiting to see what they say.
Anything is a possibility but I doubt it, if I rest my foot on the clutch pedal the screaming stops. After searching google it seems quite common on other platforms for people to throw the bearing the spec provide in the bin and run a new genuine bearing in.

I've seen this recommended on other bmw/n54 forums.

Had an email back from spec.
They’ve never heard of the throw out bearing failure and they can’t send me a replacement without me sending the old one back. Think I’m just going to cut my loses and fit a new genuine bearing.
I hope their clutches are better than their bearings!
