E90 passenger seat occupancy sensor wanted

I swapped my base seats out for a set of sport seats from a 07 or 08 e90 with a bad passenger occupancy sensor. The seat belt occasionally chimes when nobody is in the seat and to make matters worse, it doesn’t recognize the weight of a full grown adult so my passenger is unprotected.

My car is a 2011 33d so from my understanding the part # should be 52107244128 or equivalent.

Anyone have a passenger seat in rough shape that they’re willing to disassemble?

I have the same issue, especially when the weather is hot. Wish BMW would issue a recall as it seems to be fairly common.

It’s a BMW thing in general. My 530 had the same issue.

Ordered a seat cushion off Ebay so hopefully the sensor is good on it.

So about 2 weeks ago I had a problem. A major fucking problem. I’ve heard other owners talk of this. I was working on my 03 Dodge 2500 and was cleaning up for the night. I must have leaned on the key fob and....you guessed it. All my windows and sunroof opened up. Without my knowledge. It rained pretty good throughout the night. The car was soaked. I spent a few days drying out the car and when I tried to drive it. The red air bag symbol appeared on the dash and I got a bunch of errors. Took the seat completely apart to dry and reinstalled everything. Still was getting a consistent air bag off light on the headliner console but now that has finally gone off. I had my wife sit in the seat on a couple of trips and all seems well again but, what a pain in the ass! How do I disable that function?????
