Putting on new turbos on n54,where to go in gta???

I had really bad waste gate rattle, so I bought brand new updated turbos. Need good place to go to, to do this extensive job. Looking for reputable places and quotes... Any info is appreciated thanks!

I would say $900 is a steal. Local shops here are quoting $1500+

you also have to look at whose doing the job. I know Ivo does great work, and his prices are very reasonable. you don't want just anyone working on your car.

I would also recommend Ivo for this.

May want to check with RMP as well.

Anybody know how much rmp charges for this job? I tried calling but they're closed this week :/

Did you buy new OEM spec turbos just because yours rattled?

Ya! The updated 8 mm actuator ones. Mines were bad, let's just say that on the jb4, I had it set at 1000 rpm on menu 10, anything above that and it sounded like a bag of shit, extreme turbo lag, so I pulled the trigger on new ones.

Street Extreme is a ripoff... qouted me $450 to install lowering springs and $500 to install OEM BMW performance exhaust on my wife's car...

I say Ivo or Rocco at RMP... either or good ..
Btw, you may get the rattle back very early in, updated pin or not

Maybe I'll modify them so I never get the rattle...I'm gonna have a good look at them since I've never really seen them up close, I'm going to analyze exactly what's wrong with them and why they develop the rattle. I know people who have out fresh turbos and haven't had problems for at least 50k... Anyway we'll see what happens!!

Lol .... not trying to do that, but just giving a heads up...
even upgraded turbos may rattle not long after installed.
I've had a few good mechanic (fabricators) look at the turbos and try and modify so it won't rattle but so far have not gotten good response from it... I'm sure if it was possible, it would have been done already

My car is a 2007 with 88k km and my turbos were loud, really loud!!! So even if the rattle comes back it won't be close to what mines were, basically on my jb4 I had ff/wastegate position set to 20. For a quiet ride, and extreme turbo lag...
