Hello,
I broke my CCC in my e90 2005 so I bought a complete CIC Business kit (controller, screen, navi, tunnel rails, radio rails, USB etc). I connected it myself. With ncs exper I changed in VO the car's production date to #0909, I deleted the existing #0305 and added $6VA. So prepared VO saved in CAS and NFRM.
With empty MAN file i program Kombi and CIC and Navi were playing nice but the CIC controller (No. 9231116) did not work for me.
After connecting the controller to the navi has no reaction, no light up buttons or knob and INPA does not see this ZBE. When I unplug the ZBE CIC and connect the old controller (from CCC) everything works so it's probably not the fault of the cables.I thought it was a controller fault so I bought the second one (it's the same number 9231116) but the other one has the same (so it's probably not the controller's fault). The CIC is not yet activated and has the wrong VIN (0000000 and in CID yyyyyy) entered.

Did you have such a case? Maybe I missed something?

Delete 609 and add 606 to CAS and FRM. Then code all modules to default properly. Empty man is not the correct way. Use Expertmode profile and SG_CODIEREN.

i added $606, FA_write in CAS and NFRM and code default MCIC. Nothing has changed. CIC Controllers are not detected by the car.

Any other ideas?

why did you decided that you need 6VA option ?
remove it and leave only 606 option

So today i will delete $6VA and write FA to NFRM and CAS. But this can be reason why ZBE don work ??

you do not need to write fa to cas or nfrm to code units
fa, written to cas or nfrm only needed by another diagnostic software which may want to get car options list

Very old CAS software can be reason why car dont see ZBE Controller ???

Same issue here, i cant see the zbe module and it does not light up. its not shorted and it is getting power.

any input is appreciated
