Sniz - thanks!
Roozie, excellent feedback. I think it is also time for you to upgrade the dog in the avator to a Bulldog! This is a must mod for the 335 and so little is known about it - by me anyway.

No its not. The harmonic damper is not necessary for this car. Its internally balanced. The oem pulley didn't even have a damper on it. Doing a lightweight pulley on a car which redlines at 6800 rpms is pointless and only gonna drive up the price.
Yes its the same size as oem just lighter.

OP: if it makes your vendor's life easier you can start a GB to help him lock in the volume. Discounted pricing for early birds. I'm an easy sell once you post all the info...

Sorry if it's a noobish question, but can one exclude long-term longevity issues? I wonder if the pulley might be more fragile as it weighs much less.
How long does the install take in average?

NST takes that into consideration with every pulley they make. They research different weights, sizes, etc and come up with a safe alternative to the OEM. He could have went lighter with this pulley but he didn't want to sacrifice the products strength and. Durability.

Hot, high boost map, verrrrry small fan, and day got hotter. If u look at my dyno it was horrible. Wavy. I'm sure on a better dyno on a cooler. Day I can easily put out 10whp n tq more and have a lot smoother curve

I wouldn't be surprised if the average gains between 4800RPM and 6300RPM is around 15RWHP. That's nice because with a 6AT 2nd gear starts at around 4700RPM, and after 1st to 2nd gear shift, you should never really be shifting past 6400-6500RPM.

This seems too good to be true with pulleys. That being said if we can get something around the 200 range count me in.
Anyone know if service advisors really care about the pulleys? Or is it possible to get them painted to the stock color? |
