Not sure whats the go with forged and semi forged wheels.
Any 17s will be better then 19s for grip.
They look ok. Do you know any better 17s I could get?

Had a look at getting my car to read what gear its in.

Theres 4 clutch wires.
Blue
Purple
Blue with white stripe
Brown with black stripe

Blue and purple wires need to be connected with an off on switch to act as clutch in (on) clutch out (off)
You need to press clutch to turn car on.

The Blue with white stripe and brown with black stripe tied together make gear show. Clutch needs to be out.

In tuner pro theres 2 tables for gear ratio but you have to work out a factor to figure out what number to put in for gear ratio.

The factors around 24.xx for each gear ratio.
I have put the numbers in to suit powerglide previously and It didnt work. Now I have the blue white stripe wire connected to brown stripe black wire I will try again.

Why is this good?
Well now I can use 2 step on launch.
I can limit boost in each gear.

Im going to test now with the 6spd ratios to see if gears shown 1 2 3 are like my 1st and I can control boost at 3 levels in 1st gear. Most likely not but ill test it.

What width and offset do you need for your rear wheels?

Ecu reads gear now.

in 1st it reads 1st 2nd 3rd depending on speed.
in 2nd it reads 4th 5th 6th while cruising. It also reads every other gear as you slow down depending on speed.

2 step doesnt work.
Need to see what jb4 riddle setting I need to complete to get it working.

Is it just the perspective in the photos or could you go wider; say 285?

I tried some 275/45R18 MT ET Street radials on 9.5" x 18" GTC rims but they touched inside and out so I don't believe you could go much wider.

Tried a few more runs today. Similar et and mph slightly slower 12.44 119mph best out of a few runs.

I dont feel comfortable doing any more runs.
Too fast and dangerous.

Dyno this Saturday. 360kw 17psi, 380kw 20psi, 400kw 22psi, 420kw 25psi?

Im planning going to Red centre nats and maybe a drag meet at Alice Springs in 3 weeks.
Get some real times on a good set of wheels and tyres.

I meant towards the outside. Looks like a gap.
Good luck at the Nats Brule

With speeds around the 120 mph mark, your times would be around the mid 11s with traction and 60' times around 1.7s. Lower 60' times would get you into the very low 11s. Speeds need to be in the 130 mph + area to get into the 10s.

Yes, I said inside and out were touching with the 275/45 R18 tyres. With the 275/40R17 tyres, no touching any where but very little space inside or outside so I don't believe you could go any wider. I haven't required any wider tyres as these don't spin when heated up and on 16 psi pressure.

The maximum offset for the Koya SF02 9" is only et37 but that might be conservative. You might be able to get them to push it out to et39, otherwise, you'll have to sort it out yourself.

2mm wont be an issue.

I did call koya and he said he can do et 39 but the centre cap will no longer fit on the 9 inch wide. front et 27 no issue.

Just did a bit of a run...

Just changed tyre pressure and revd 1st gear out a bit more. 1st does 130 140 lol

12.40 108mph run.

Put brakes on early thats why mph is down.

Still chasing 11.99 on 17psi.

Need to check my suspension settings. I have a book in the boot of my front and rear setting changes. Feels stiff. Will try loosening front rebound to let it rise a bit first.
