The inner light on E90/E91 LCI Xenon is a cornering light. Low Beam and High Beam are handled by the Bi-Xenon projector, DRL is the Angel Eyes. You can code the cornering light as DRL, but I don't believe that is default on any LCI Xenon cars.

Cornering lights will turn on with the lights set to auto when the wheel is turned far enough to either side. I have mine coded to come on in reverse also.

On LCI cars these cannot/shouldn't be used as High Beam. The reflector and lens is not designed for it. They don't go very far out, but are designed to direct light to the sides.

The Pre-LCI cars had a different reflector and lens on the inner light.

Only works between certain speeds, don't remember right off. They come on when I'm turning into my driveway or onto my street, but not when taking turns on a rural road at 45 mph.

I’m not sure what you mean. They only work when the headlights are on. The xenon projectors only pivot so far, these are to complement them at lower speeds.

I've looked into using them as supplemental fog lights and have not seen anyone able to code them for constant on when the headlights are on. On my 2011 LCI 335i with adaptive headlights mine work in the following manner:
Headlights must be in auto mode.
-In reverse both cornering lights illuminate.
-When I engage my turn signal the cornering light on the side of the flashing turn signal comes on for approximately 15 seconds.
-When turning the steering wheel more than approximately 45 degrees the light on the side I'm turning to illuminates until the steering wheel rotates back towards center past the ~45* point or after about 15 seconds will shut off.

Does anyone know how to change via bimmercode expert mode? When I use my turn signals they would stay on for 240 secs. My friend coded this with nsc. I used a back up from bimmercode so now it is back to 4 secs.
