Wiring Harness In Trunk
So I know for a fact I have a faulty wire somewhere in my trunk lid cable bundle. Would anyone know what colour to look for with the symptoms provided? They are on a 2011 e90 xdrive
-License plate receives no power to lights -Driver side taillight part of the trunk receives no power -trunk latch does not receive power - passenger side taillight receives power and works fine If anyone knows whats good please let me know! |

sounds like the trunk harness. When you open your trunk you will see a rubber boot on the right side, a wire harness runs through that and powers all those things you mentioned that do not work, open it up and I will guarantee you will find broken wires. They break just from the stress of the trunk opening and closing. When it happened to me i cut and soldered new wire to the broken ones
