This week is going to be a really busy week. Im hoping I have the time to get out and drive it...

I almost want to sit at the dealership and watch them do the PDI... but then I would also need to check myself into the local BMWA support group (BMW Addicts)....

LOL - yeah, we're the only ones who "get" what you're going through.

But, as a group our interventions are drives in the new baby; this in turn leads to more OCD.... and the cycle continues...

KL2DC: Jinx? BMW hasn't had me drink the kool-aid that lets me use telepathy to set it up...

FYI:

Ive had a check engine light go off in my car for the last couple of weeks (yellow, not red). So it has reduced power, my appointemnt was today, they informed me a couple of hours ago that they dont know whats up, something with the boost control and that they have sent a PUMA to BMW....so....i hope this doesnt ruin the potential drive....

P.S. im driving a Dodge Tacoma Extended Cab, god help me.

. I dont think Dodge makes a Tacoma. Dodge has the Ram and Dakota, Toyota has the Tacoma... Last I heard, pickups are light on the rear end without a payload (especially with long cabs and beds). Worst comes to worst, you can always do donuts in the parking lot...

Howdy folks!!! It's been a while since I've said a peep (all the newbies simultaneously asking the same questions over and over in the main threads are really killing me). I am also trying to fight the never-ending urge to plop down for an ED 335i coupe. Still been lurking though.

I hope all of you are doing well. I am down for a nice *brisk* drive with libations this weekend or next. Unfortunately, I can't do Sundays.

is your car at sterling...? if so, I saw it monday morning...! i've got space grey and black leather too, so it was kinda shocking to see an almost mirror image there...if it was not your car, someone else is getting a SG/Blk 328i pretty soon...good for you/them.

Yes my car is at Sterling. It was probably my E92!!!

Space Gray/Black leather/aluminum trim... I saw it in flesh yesterday. Even dirty, it looks good

I saw a space gray E92 335 with gray leather too. I was contemplating that combo, but Im glad I didnt. The black is a good contrast...

Im certainly praying for snow tonight (to have off from work tomorrow) and then 90 degree weather starting at noon tomorrow... If I pick the car up today (as I should be able to), Im going for a drive while I can!!!

Update:

The truck is going back tonight and im getting a loaner tomorrow morning. They talked to BMW and they said the problem was with the fuel pressure pum or something like that, and it being unable to deliver the required fuel at high RPM, which makes some sense. they have to order the part and all that, so im not sure when my car will be fixed....

Are we ok with pushing the date back to the 17th or 18th?

Sorry to hear about your car troubles. It seems to be a fairly frequently discussed problem on the N54s. GL with it.
