Rookie

Hi, i just purchased my 07 e92 335i coupe (auto=( and i've been doing all kinds of research on it and talked to allot of people. Unfortunately im hearing all kinds of things about tuning and such so i wanted advice from you guys since there's some Pro's here. I was looking to either tune it with xete or procede software... i would like to know which one is better and roughly how to do it. Also have been looking at downpipes and exhausts, but i dont know which one is better for my car. If i could get some advice and usefull links i would appreciate it allot.
Thanks In Advance!

welcome and congrats.

procede and xede are both easy to upgrade, you just plug in your laptop and you're set. the procede makes more power (V2 especially) then the xede but the xede is a great product also.

as far as exhaust - it's really up to your preference. do you like loud? a little louder then stock? calm?

the only downpipes available to buy right now are the ultimate racing (or supersprint if your wallet is deep enough). the riss racing ones wont ship til they get 25 orders to complete the group buy (whenever that'll happen )

what exhaust exactly? a member here had the whole eisenmann race catback (no cats or resonators) with catless downpipes and it sounded pretty bad (very raspy).

let me search and get the vids...

wow that's horrible sounding I certainly hope not all exhausts with catless downpipes without a cat and resonators sound like that... I'm sure his car moves like hell though.

haha yeah i know man. what's funny is that i have the eisenmann race section 3 right now and I was about to buy the rest of the catback (sections 1 and 2) til sherwin (walked u) told me not to do it and therefore posted these vids to give everyone else an idea. the DPs were already on their way here too! talk about good timing

yeah man.... i have yet to get an answer to that question also. some people just go with custom exhaust or mix brands. example : magnaflow glasspack mufflers with eisenmann straight pipes - stuff like that.

his car DOES move. search under his threads. user name is Walked U
