If I remember correctly thee Vavetronic can run from fully closed to fully open in 300 milliseconds. So part throttle is probably 30% there already, you are looking at 200 milliseconds from "throttle stab" to full throttle. Probably find more gains by reducing the programed throttle dampening rate in the DME

i understand this post is very old, but if possible do you know how you went about disabling valvetronic? i have a 2011 e90 n55 and ran into an issue with valvetronic for the 2nd time and i dont wanna deal with such a bad system anymore.
