Koni Special Active Shocks/Struts Now Available

I received notice that the new Koni Special Active Shocks and Struts are now available for E9X's.
They are replacing the Gold FSD's with this Red Version,
I haven't been able to find any additional information as in how these are different than the original gold ones.

Just thought I would let you know,

Thanks for sharing! I'm very curious to see how these improve on the old FSDs. If they're compatible with lowering springs moreso like the Koni Yellow (whereas the gold FSDs were not), I'd try them out for sure.

Pricing is around $155 ea. for the fronts and $120 ea. for the rears for E90. Not bad at all.

According to Koni, the valving has not changed from the FSD to the special active. This appears to be mostly a marketing change. That said, I have not used them, only sharing the info that Koni shared with me.

Hey @strutmonkey, did Koni do Away with their yearly 25% off?

Seems like that used to happen everyspring, but didn’t see anything this year?

Why buy a new if they have a lifetime warranty other than you damage it.

I just installed mines on my E93 and love them so far. I paired them up with the msport springs.
