'08 335xi with plenty of Mods at BMW Dealership...

Hey guys. I've been looking at an '08 335xi with heavy mods done to it at a BMW dealership. Here's a list of the mods:

Active Autowerke 335i High Flow Stainless Cat Back
Active Autowerke Active processor
Active Autowerke Blow off valve kit
Dinan High Capacity Oil Cooler System
BMW M-TEchnic Aero Kit ( front bumper, rear bumper )
Hartge Lip Spoiler ( Rear trunk )

BBS Ch wheels (Black) - 18x8.5 front , 18x10 rear
Toyo T1-R Tires - 235x40x18 front , 275x35x18 rear

...The dealer I have been corresponding with through E-Mail says that the car carries the full remainder of the factory warranty, and all of the work was done at the Dealership. My concern though, is that this will be an out of state purchase, and I cannot bring the vehicle to the dealership which I bought it from, which makes me worry about Warranty issues concerning the mods...

Here's a link to the car on Cars.com:

Any advice on this would be very much appreciated!

The only reason it carries the full factory warranty is because a) nothing has happened to the car, and b) this dealer hasn't said anything about the modifications to BMW NA. That means this particular dealer is cool about mods.

But that doesn't mean any other dealership you take it to for service will be equally cool about mods.. so if you're buying from out of state, I would keep that in mind.

get something in writing stating that it will be covered at any dealership. Or contact your local dealer and tell them you are considering this particular vehicle and see how they feel about servicing it
