ED and Floor Mats

What do people do for ED and floor mats? I don't want to schlepp mats over the pond, and if I buy them there, they may not make it back, based on what I've read.

What have people done?

You get floor mats with the car - no worries.

take the front plate, triangle and first aid kit with you as they may not make it back to the states.

You may luck out with the front plate and triangle if you forget to remove them, but it is my understanding that they must take the first aid kit out at customs (it contains items not specifically approved in the U.S.)

I've allotted suitcase space for those already.

Sad thing is, I haven't yet. I have been worried that it will snow, but I want to go north to Berlin and to Poland. So, I am nearly close enough to where I can check the weather (or is that Czech the weather?) and get a feel for what will happen and weather (ha, ha) I will have to go south or not, as I would like to avoid renting snow tires...
