Haha, most ppl kw each others there, so they nvr worry a thing. Same things with all the next door shops. Dave does it too to my car As long as all other shops are still open, they seem to be pretty safe in the area. Every shops there watch out for each others.

yeah well he didnt say he was going to repaint it, but he did say he was going to make sure he got the bubbles out. he had my car for two weeks, and i figured he needed it that long because he was fixing things.

I just recently bought a 2x4 sheet of 3m di-noc carbon fiber vinyl and its very easily to work with.

On a flat surface like the roof, I think you could be able to do with with a friend in less than an hour of labor.

Here's some things I covered with it

I say DIY it unless you've never had any experience before with art and crafts or don't have a steady hand.

Were you at the Dyno Day meet today? I remember seeing a swatch of one of these in someone's car, the exact same vinyl!

Yes I was; I have the black c55 amg that was all dirty. Several members wanted to see it in person and I brought a couple sheets for them to keep so they can play around with it if they want to buy it. It was completely realistic down to the fibers in the weave, aside from that its not woven and not carbon fiber

I personally don't like the raw cabon fiber look on the exterior but I believe you can clear coat it to give it the deep look; I'm going to put a lot of layers of clear coat on a sheet later on to see how good it looks.

Metropolitan Detail can also install vinyl roof. I haven't asked a price, but they're very good at Venture Shield.
