So I've tried to search all the forums about adding Bluetooth functionality cheaply to non-iDrive w/ the Harman Kardon system, and it seems like the tune2air is what is most recommended. HOWEVER when I connect it to my android device(LG G8) it connects for about a minute or two, then just changes by itself back to the radio. Also, during this time it displays LOADING on the stereo, then when I switch it back to IPOD, it plays for another minute or so and stops the music, which I then have to go and manually hit play on the phone to get it to go again. And after a couple minutes, it starts this cycle of switching to radio/pausing the music all over again. Anyone have any problems like this?

This works pretty good music quality is as good as cd for usb and sd
card not that bad with bluetooth .
You need to enable the cdc it's a cheap Dension 500 bt essentially.

Oof, was hoping there was a less complex solution..but it seems like I'm gonna have to go into the dash, cuz just going through the AUX/USB is gonna impair sound quality from what I can tell
