Window polishing/ light scratches...

Sigh... i screwed up my windshield and other windows by using the wrong side of the pad

. Is there a polish you guys recommend or a process to remove these scratches? Theyre really light but flare up in the light. I think that its fixable if i buff out the windows with some sort of compound..

I was told by my shop that if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it's too deep to polish out. I have some that are and some that aren't so I didn't bother. Visit a professional.

I dont think i can feel them with my fingernail fortunately but theres a lot of them. Im gonna try to buff them out with a compound i found online. I dindt think a sponge could damage glass.

How the heck did a sponge scratch glass????? Was it the old sponge you had used on your rims or something?

Pad sounds like a buffer maybe?

I think there might have been something metallic caught in it ?? I cant tell.. Ill never wash the windows with the tougher side of the sponge again. In general i think its fine but its easier to get somethign caught in it which can screw up ur windows... sigh... I just ordered a kit the other day from the glasspolish.us. Ill let u guys know how it turns out. If that doesnt do it ill order the one from autogeek. I wish i thought of looking up autogeek first for polishing the glass

Actually, what do you guys think? I ordered http://www.glasspolish.us/shop/produ...products_id=90 about two days ago and would rather use the autogeek polishing kit instead... i guess ill call them in and see if i can cancel my order asap...
