Trying to find out about PW and Foam Cannon
I've been reading on the forums and seems that a lot of detailers are using a Karcher PW with a Foam Cannon. I was reading into getting an electric powered Karcher PW and Foam Cannon combo for personal use (I'm not a detailer). Can anyone recommend a good PW and Foam Cannon and where to buy? Does it come with everything you would need other than the foaming car wash soap? Thank you.

I use a Karcher 1800 re-man I got Big lots for a $100.
Karcher makes a bayonet adapter to fit their gun. It is part #4762061 at pressureparts.com you also need a 22mm coupler #331212 The two pieces are $15.00 shipped. I have a camspray foamer which works well with this setup |

Would this model suffice with the aforementioned 2 adapters and foam cannon?

Do you foam gun users use it as a prewash, followed by a 2-bucket method? or do you actually just use a mitt on the foam directly?

For me, it depends how dirty it is but generally I use it as a prewash and follow it up with 2 bucket method. You can also just use a mitt on foam directly and use a rinse bucket to clean the mitt between panels. It's all preference really. |
