How much was the drop over the ZSP springs? Hard to tell from the picture.

Ordered my performance suspension yesterday but haven't decided on springs yet.

Yes, but given the options Tischer offers based vehicle manufacturing date you can't be certain what you are getting.

Just go to your local dealer and see if they'll match the price. Mine did, and with state sales tax I still came in less than online with shipping.

I'm coming up to 60k on my stock parts with my 2006 330i ZSP.

I was thinking about getting Eibach Pro Kit springs and Koni FSD shocks. Since my car is made in 01/2006, it'll require "guide supports" but i coudln't find out how much those cost.

Which option would be cheaper? going with the aftermarket or stay with the BMW performance suspension kit?

The order form has a provision for entering your vehicle's VIN. Presumably that would be the mechanism for them to make certain they are matching the kit to your car. Not sure why they would ask for the VIN otherwise.

You do need the guide supports according to everything that I have read and in checking with the dealer using my VIN. My purchase price was $135 each and you need two. That was in addition to the $90 I spent on the "old" Performance Suspension kit.

Looks good, should drop a lil more when the springs settle. Are you satisfied with the ride? and how much difference than the stock ZSP suspension ride wise?

I will take some better pictures of the drop guys ... I took that picture with my camera phone .. I don't think it is going to settle too much more, these springs were used .. so my guess is they are already broken in. I wish I could have done a comparison with the stock sport shocks with these springs vs the performance shocks .. it for sure rides firmer .. handles better ... but really bad bumps ... it sure lets me know I am hoping once I get rid of the runflats it will help smooth things out a bit. So far I am happy.

A fair number of you are changing springs with these dampers, which is a fine idea. My recommendations here are to go with the BMW yellow perf springs (about 40% stiffer, match dampers to keep proper suspension balance) or to upgrade to Swift springs, which you can get from HPA (Harold).

I would advise against Eibach, H&R, etc. unless you know exactly what spring rates you are getting and how they will work with the BMW Perf dampers.

Suspensions are systems. Mix & match is not a good idea.

"Lowering" springs generally diminish ride quality and performance.

I selected Eibach pro kit over the performance springs. The people at Tischer stated those yellow performance springs were not intended to be mated to the "old" performance dampers. They aren't a "system" per se, but the combination seems to be working for many.

The Eibach pro kit has spring rates similar to the yellow performance springs, but at significantly less cost. Given the success of both the Eibach and Performance springs with these dampers I selected the cheaper option.

Doc, does HPA offer Swift springs for replacement of our factory springs? I had thought they only offered replacements for coilovers, so this is a great service for us to utilize!

Wow that is a great question -- I assumed that they would be. We need to ask Harold.
