do we now if we are officailly capped at 9 or is there still a possiblity of 12 cars? Just wondering cause i have a friend with 335 that would like to join is possible..

We are capped at 10 according to Brett, but if there is a possibility of extra cars, Christopher (C135) is already in line

If 12 is a possibility then your buddy and Chris could both take their cars.

Yep we are capped at 10 for this round. Again, we're looking to do more later on. Just don't want to attract too much or the wrong attention. If that happens, we won't given another opportunity...

Hey B, do we know how and/or where the planes are going to be set up? Is there a way to set them up or we just get there and work around how they are already set up? Any hangars on the overall back ground? Hopefully we can get planes

We will most likely be on the East side of the base with the river in the background. Basicaly SE of the control tower. The planes will already be set afaik. We MAY get them set with downtown Jax in the background but I doubt it. The contact at the base is a pretty cool guy and is looking to do the best he can. It's cleared with the right people but it only takes 1 security guard with a bug up his a$$ to ruin the whole thing. This is on an operational base after all. I would plan to be prepared for any shooting condition. I'll help with transporting the gear if needed!

It'll be awesome!!!!! I'll bring all the gear. Bring your neighbors son and I'll explain to him some of what we'll be doing for his own photography use!!!!

He might be taking my place the wheels wont be delivered to WLSTO till the 16th so I dont think they will be here by the 20th.

Honestly you were not in the list until now with e90slow backing out.

He is SOOOOO looking forward to this and getting advice from you.
We did go out to the bas and he took a lot of pics of my car with a Tomcat in the background. I'll try to get them loaded on Photobucket tonight. He did take a few really good shots!
I forgot how dark my tint is until my neighbor was sitting in the front seat and I couldn't see him...

Even the closeup pics of the driver's side window with the plane's reflection in it couldn't tell I was in the car!

Im not out yet they called me today they are finishing tomorrow and shipping them out. If wlsto gets them by monday I'll have them in time.

Hope all is "cleared" for camera usage aboard the base - usually co-ordination with PAO is necessary/helpful - especially with aircraft as a backdrop. In any case, permission is easier than forgiveness.
