More clarity is probably warranted. Did they promise in writing that the part would work for your application?

If not, and you just got the wrong part, I don't see why they should refund anything.

More clarity, because as of right now, it looks like you aren't releasing the whole story.

I did not order the part and the seller did not ship out the part. We exchanged messages and I sent him $150. Within 15 minutes, I emailed him requesting that he cancel the order because the part would not work after further research. He acknowledged my message and has not refunded my funds since then.

No. He did not send me the part. I sent him the money and within 15 minutes I messaged him to cancel my order.

Gotcha - so you are out $150 and you don't have the item you paid for? Yeah, if that is the case, then that is pretty shitty.

That's correct. He/her won't respond to their personal email either. I really hope they get back to me. But it's not looking good.
