What should I do?!
The Euro alarm may be different. If you installed the alarm yourself, it has to be activated by the dealership. If it is activated, the panic button is the trunk open button. Just hold it down longer and it will trigger the alarm.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the Post.

Having that said, Do we really need an alarm and is it fairly foolproof?

Best Regards

I didn't know you could deactivate the Tilt & USIS without deactivating the entire alarm:

"Deactivation takes place by resetting the central arrest within 10 sec. after the central arrest or convenient closing function."

Is "resetting the central arrest" the same thing as pressing the lock button on the remote and extra time?

And we all thought it was just a switch, an ultrasonic module, and a siren. Thank ksfrogman.

Sticky, please.

alarm

Yes you just press the center button on your "key" and it disables those functions from the alarm. The clown nose I believe turns on for 2 seconds constant when you do that and then bliinks at a different rate.

One question though...I want an alarm that activates if someone even touches my car. So basically, once I set the alarm, if my car is touched, it'll go off. Bumping to see if anyone knows which wire activates the lock/unlock chirp. Wanting to add a dual stage shock sensor and tap the high sensitivity output into it.
