New hood emblem. Scored a new oem
On eBay for 26$ couldn't go wrong. Of course I like to add a little strip of 3m double sided tape for extra security. The old Chinese one started fading. Here's a comparison side by side. What a difference.

I hear you! How much coolant did you bleed out? Was it 1 gallon or more than that? I have to do this job and I am wondering.

Less than 1 gallon if only removing the two hose connections, 1 at OFH and 1 at cylinder head.

Surprisingly, I only lost a few ounces. I just clamped off the upper radiator hose and pulled it off the OFH. I left the other hose connected.
I was going to drain the coolant too, but after searching I realized it probably wasn't necessary.

Went for a nice mountain drive with a mix of going slow and enjoying the scenery and getting a little antsy in the twisties. Got a little too carried away going down the mountain, though. Built up some speed pretty quickly just coasting which resulted in a speeding ticket. Live and learn.

I just installed this same shifter lever. I wonder why they didn’t make that part properly. Wasn’t going to be to difficult considering they already had wires and board there for the other shift lights.

Getting my new firehawk indy 500s put on the rear today. Cant wait to finally have more confidence with how the car handles.

Currently have cheap federal tires that have no sidewall reinforcement at all and are super flimsy. On the highway or any speed above 60mph the car feels like it doesnt have a sway bar in the rear and reacts super sluggish

Also does anyone know how to fix this service light? Pretty sure its for the cabin air filter. I reset it when I replaced it, not sure why its acting up now. It wont reset.

This is what the guys in this detailing forum recommended me. It smells great and has a matte finish

you have to recode your kombi module:
Just change the value HU_VERBAUT_C08 to radiostufe_3_4

I switched to a silicone elbow. I'm impressed with the mod, during normal driving you don't notice a difference the car is still nice and silent.

When you drive spirited the throttle response is improved and it sounds slightly better on the top end but never loud or annoying the change is slight

Sure thing. And you'll need an LCI head unit to do this. It'll just disable gongs entirely if you try to code it on a Pre LCI.

Finally got around to installing my waterpump and thermostat. Wasn't as bad as I anticipated. Definitely a few tight spots though.

Valve cover and gasket done today. Definitely easier 2nd time around. Took me 2.5-3 hours taking my time and running to a friends house to get some tools I didn't own. Now no vacuum leaks!
