Yes I would say if you are looking for perfect then buy brand new. Thats the problem I had. I wanted e93, navi, red interior, sports package, black, white, or grey, but I was always not getting everything I wanted. I ended up with a blue e92 with all the options I wanted plus a few extra. As for the rims that is small, I'm sure you'll find a bunch of guys that would buy them from you, or you could powder coat or paint them whatever color you wanted. But at the end of the day it is what YOU are going to buy and like. I hope your search don't give you a headache and you end up buying a GMC or something hahaha

Yep, and wait until you actually drive one. You'll be looking hard.

This is the issue Ben had (Nola4ever504). There was a perfect one but he wanted 6M, not DCT. There was an awesome E92 6M, but he wanted an E90. This went on for 3-4 months. Even the car he ended up with was nearly perfect but I knew he would've preferred power seats. He hasn't looked back yet.

Autotrader,
Cars.com,
Ebay,

Widen your search and keep checking. I'll help you starting now. There's one out there for you, or will be within the next two weeks I bet you can't depend on local searches that's for sure (I know you're not at this point).
I'd say don't get the 08', hold out for something newer with a warranty. You don't need a supercharger or that huge power anytime soon. In fact, with just pullies/tune/intake it'll totally transforms the M3 into something I see as all you'd ever need in a daily driver

Funny how that one has a carbon roof and no ZCP.

It also states that it has the competition package, with the competition package wheels which it does not have. Mind you, i'm basing this off the wheels.
So two scenarios, they are mistaken and you should ask for $2500 off (see ad, as they are claiming it has something it doesn't)
It does have ZCP, the car was in a wreck and the body shop put on the base 19" wheels instead of the right wheels and pocketed the difference from the insurance company (this is very common actually). In that case DO NOT BUY.

It has ZCP and cf roof but not ZCP wheels. Car fax is clean.

Yeah, owner probably sold the ZCP wheels to someone with regular wheels for a chuck of profit before trading in.

Would definitely try to get a little off for that since with those 19" you got a horrible gap. Here is a pic of my car with ZCP wheels for comparison.

You lose a nice benefit of the ZCP package in minimizing the "gap" in the wheel well while staying stock with the wheels on that car. But if you're already planning on changing them out that's all mute.

That car, to me, is price a bit too high for what's on it. But I'm horrible on judging a good price for used cars...

I sure am. 10" all the way around with 275s or 285s would look spectacular.

Anyone want to hang and let me take pictures of their car, this weekend? I took some rollers of my buddy's e34 M5, last weekend, and it has me in the mood to shoot some metal.

Man you are preaching to the choir on this..

ive been looking since Jan for this m3 that I just got yesterday. I knew I wanted it loaded, every option including heated seats. Comp, nav, tch2 pckg DCT ect, I wanted white/black low miles for a decent price. Went to Manhiem for mths and nothing.. went to dealerships and nothing finally found this one out in Cali with one owner and a clean car fax and then he had title issues and it took another 6 weeks to get it straight. So believe me im with you when you say you want the perfect CPO.

Now for inital driving impresions. 1st the M3 gets way more looks then I ever did in my 335. I now feel like the wolf where as before I felt like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
The M3 feels superior in every way except I miss the low-end torque my tuned 335 made

The dual clutch is crazy quick, the comp pckg wheels look so nice several people have asked me where I got those "after market rims" I like the CF roof it really stands out on the white. The seats are way softer leather and more plush then the 335. You can spend all day messing with the EDC and the M-drive with so many different driving options. I tend to keep it as docile and smooth as possible in DD driving so far and I have the M button maxed out to the tighest EDC and the quickest shifts so its a dramatic difference when I press it.

I miss the "tune-ability" of the TT 335 but so far little else. The 335 did feel a lot lighter and more nimble but the M3's steering makes you feel like a much better driver than what you really are.
