Having trouble hardwiring 9500ix, please help

So I tried the fuse box method and for some reason the wire stopped working. Got a new wire and now trying do the sunroof method. Still nothing. I wiretapping into the white/green wire and nothing is happening. I checked the ground and followed the instructions of where to ground. If I wiggle the wire I can hear the passport trying to boot but nothing happens. Any suggestions... So frustrating how its such a pain with an e92 but my e46 took 15 minutes.

i just did this a couple of days ago. make sure you're tapping into the GREEN cable with white stripe. And ground it to the 10mm bolt.

I just bought on of those fused wires where you plug it in to an un-used fuse spot and havent had any problems.
