Yea it bolts in.
But the ball on the motor itself didn't snap into anything?
When I installed mine it snapped into a little valley where it moves freely

I wish I could whip up a diagram. But basically the motor would move side to side within the headlight, not touching anything. Its so you don't have to code out adaptive when you install them (which I did anyways, when I first installed them I didnt put the motors in)

No link unfortunately I bought them in 2018. They're xenon adaptive ofc. They weren't common back then, now everyone has them. Pic for reference
