having just chopped in the 335i for a 335d, ive discovered the throttle to be quite heavy over the first few inches of travel, aggravating an old and quite serious crash injury. didn`t notice this on the test drive, and the I certainly didn`t cause this as it had a soft peddle with immediate response. rather than get rid, as it is a brilliant piece of kit, someone recommened a sprint booster. anyone had experience of one of these? was seriously thinking os a 135i if this didn`t work out, but i`d rather keep the D at the moment. putting it in sport mode does help, but the fuel consumption gets even worse! any help much appreciated. thanks.

theres no reason it should be any different to the 335i as they are both fly by wire

Sprint booster or whatever you want isn't going to make the pedal any lighter!

Maybe the car needs to adapt to driving style? Certainly know this from my mums car. You have to use kickdown to actually get decent acceleration as she just poodles around town all the time.

that`s what i thought, same set up. guess it`s just my injury that makes it harder work. have to get used to it. no hardship though, they are fantastic. thanks.
