M3 Control Arm Kit / Xi Options?

Just beginning the information gathering stage but maybe someone can help speed me up. I am aware of the M3 control arm kit that FCP Euro offers but unfortunately it says for RWD cars only. Does anyone know why this is or is it still possible to do the swap? Also curious if M3 sways bars would still be an option for an Xi.

Thank you for your time 🙌

all the rear control arms/sway bars will swap

For the front its all designed different although you can press the M tension arm bushing into the Xi's (I did this in my E60 xi )

Hey, thanks for this info. I’ll look into the bushing swap. Did you find it worth the hassle after you were done? I use to have a e60 550. I still miss the sound of that engine!

I noticed more NVH as to be expected but the steering response did get better but im sure the stock fluid filled ones were beyond toast. Even on the rwd cars that bushing is the only benefit of the M3 tension arm replacement

I need an overhaul on everything so I was looking at the same route. Huge thanks for the info!

Anyone thought of going with powerflex poly bushings instead of the M3 bushings for the front? or would that just be a waste of money?
