N54 RPM issues
Hello,
Recently I have noticed that my 2009 A/T 335i will rev higher before shifting. Does up maybe 200 more before it shifts. The other day while out running errands I started my car and rpm would fluctuate from about 600 to maybe 1600. Sounded like I was revving my car just faster. Turned it off and waited a minute or so and it started like normal. Did it again later that night. Wasn't picking up any codes so to make sure was going to take it to parts store to get I read (only code was for wheel speed sensor which I already knew about). While on my way I was stopped at a light and turning onto the main road. As soon as I did my rpm shot up to 6000 before finally shifting. Scared the crap out of me. Pulled over and did the throttle adaption reset and didn't do it again. I just got my car back after installing larger turbos and and engine swap. In terms of shifting has been fine since I got it back. This started just this past weekend. Tried reflashing my tune and it hasn't worked. I'm trying to log my rides but MHD has been acting up on my phone recently so no luck yet. Any suggestions on a fix would greatly be appreciated. Tmrw I plan on checking the tmap and throttle body for build-up. |
