DIY: Installing Power Folding Mirrors with Autodimming feature

Just to bring this post back to life , I’ve got an e93 LCI 2011 M sport with electric heated seats , unfortunately no powerfold mirrors or button , when I try to swap out my drivers mirror firstly for powerfold , my mirrors and windows don’t work , unplug said mirror and windows work again with passenger mirror also working , is this normal until codes in? Thanks

how many pins in your factory mirror assembly connector 3 or 5 pin ?

do adjustment of the driver side mirror is working ?

Are there any diagrams or guide to show me how to rewire from 5 wires to 3 wires?
