Comfort Access Programming?

I've been too lazy up until now but I want to get my comfort access programmed it is included in my car (door handle sensors etc) but I guess it's not coded. Any alternatives to getting it coded by the dealership? Thanks.

Does your key work with comfort access when starting the car, and your other comfort access features don't?

Or does the key need to be registered to the vehicle as a comfort access key?

From my understanding the key is already preprogrammed from the factory. So if you order a new key for the dealer, it will already be programmed to the car
