E-Bay Charge Pipe?
Searched, but couldn't find anything on it.
Anyone have any experience with this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Black-Alu...098014634#rwid I have a 2013 Coupe, but it seems like it should fit. Thanks! |

It's a metal pipe with an O-ring. As long as it fits and doesn't leak, I can't see how anything can go catastrophically wrong. That being said, I still shy away from eBay parts.

Awesome, thanks. Looks like they have sold a ton of them, so I cant see it being faulty otherwise people would complain.

I have that CP after I blew my stocker. It installed just fine and works as advertised. Save your money on an aluminum piece of pipe. BTW I also have an eBay D,P and catchcan, for the last year and a half, all work as well as the parts that cost double the price.

It's far from just a metal pipe with a coupler. If the o-ring portion of the CNC aluminum flange is mis-machined you will risk running of prematurely wearing your turbos. Most people aren't aware of the fact that the car won't immediately throw a boost leak code unless the leak is substantial and a slow leak at the throttle body will make the turbos have to work harder to achieve the desired boost target.
Please remember that eBay isn't an individual vendor and these chargepipes are manufacturered by dozens of different suppliers. Most of the ebay no-name copies have never tested their products on an actual car let alone test tolerances before shipping them to customers since they're a copy of a copy. A product you may think is working well can be in fact causing more damage than good. Stick with the proven brands when it comes to products that can prevent any additional maintenance or damage to your N54. |

I actually picked up a CX Chargpipe for the fact that it has the silicone couplers. I didn't want to deal with any leaks associated with the clip and o ring style.
To each their own. I have had a good experience with mine, but opinions vary of course. I agree, always check for boost leaks with positive pressure and soapy water. You can see in your log as well if your WGDC is higher than normal too. |

Well, installed it. Getting it onto the throttle body is tight, a little motor oil solved it. It would be better if they included a 20 degree or so silicone adaptor instead of straight. Beyond that it was pretty good.
Scary part was my oem charge pipe lip cracked as soon as I tried to take it off |

I have a eBay chargepipe on my n55. It's been running strong for 10K Miles FBO 18lbs. Vrsf is only good to me with their fmic and downpipe. Might buy the axle back. Not sure yet. But I don't see a problem with the $99 eBay chargepipe.

With VRSF CP priced at $179 shipped, i would not go with an unproven part that might cause problems in the future.

I have a similar ebay charge pipe installed. Fitment was super weird but I got it to work. Over 40000km on it and it's fine. I'd probably go with a name brand one if doing it again.
