Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement
E90 xi n52 is throwing P0335 pending code which is Crankshaft Position Sensor a Circuit Malfunction. The car cranks fine and runs well some days. Other days, the engine would hesitate, throw the transmission into limp mode and show up a yellow car on the lift symbol.
This also happened after a starter replacement. Should I do the job to check the wiring or should I just replace the sensor while I am at it. Car is at 200k km. Also can it be done without removing the intake manifold? Or can it be done moving the intake manifold to the side to gain enough space in between the reach the sensor? Thanks! |

Check the DIY guide section and do a search. I'm sure this has been covered...
