High pitch noise coming at medium RPM

Hi, i start noticing this very high pitch noise coming from engine bay after 2k rpm, accelerating, in BOTH: 335D and X5 35D. It also there *(same rpm range) when driving in the cold morning or after 3+ hours of highway driving!
I was 100% sure that it was one of the drive belt pulleys, either idler or tensioner so i order both and waiting for a good time to swap them (to start on E90) but today i accidently found this video with very very similar pitch noise as on my cars and the guy stating there that it is an exhaust manifold bolt/stud came out and hi fixed it himself with new one???
Am i missing something or anyone dealt with this one?

Use a long screwdriver to find the source. Or remove the belt when it's making the noise. To me, it sounds like an idler.

Yah, the problem is that this noise on both cars is intermittent and NOT happening when vehicle is parked!( Only when its under load...

Well when it happens. Spray some wd40 on ur and see if it helps
