Does anyone have the VRSF catback exhaust?

I'm looking to purchase this exhaust and just wanted some feedback on sound and level of loudness really. I had a 335i previously with performance exhaust and DP and I know this will be quieter but I am just hoping it's not just a LITTLE louder than stock. Thanks

Have you listened to Borla Atak? I had it one a F30, no DP. Sounds good.

Our exhaust is a little louder than stock at idle/cruise and it opens up quite a bit when you get on it. I don't remember the exact measurement but it's about 12-14 dB louder than stock @ WOT.

I've had it on for about 2 weeks now. It's definitely louder than stock and noticeable even under normal driving. But nice and tame for a daily commuter. You will really notice the difference at wot and cold starts

That's my comparison at least from catless down pipes and stock exhaust to fully catless

Have you ever consider selling axle back exhaust for us?

The stock exhaust is a one piece design, an axleback. An aftermarket axle back would require permanent modification, which most of our customers don't seem to be interested in.

Thanks Tiago. So is that increase above stock pretty noticeable, say compared to a performance exhaust from BMW? Because right around that level of loudness is where im looking to go. not looking to go catless

I'd say it's a bit louder than the PE in all aspects

I have yet to hear the full VRSF catback, so i dont know if doing VRSF downpipe and catback will be too loud.

VRSF exhaust would go perfect with downpipes
it is not a super aggressive exhaust

Do you have a DP also? I'm in between VRSF DP+BMW PE and VRSF DP+VRSF Exhaust. Hoping someone out there can help be a deciding factor. I don't mind a bit of noise as long as it's not too crazy.

Have you heard DP + PE in person?
Im a big fan of PE on its own, but i do not like how it sounds with catless DP

The PE mated with catless downpipes is very raspy and prone to a bit of drone.

Our catback mated with the downpipes is both drone and rasp free with a deeper exhaust note at cruise and wide open throttle.

Any plans to offer a full single 3.5" turboback option for the N55 guys?

No, I haven't. I appreciate the feedback.

Good to know! I think I'll go the route of the VRSF exhaust then. As long as it's not obnoxiously loud when cruising. WOT is perfectly fine to be a screaming banshee.
