2008 335i idle hiccups. Ghost Codes, no misfire
Hey everyone. Hoping I could get a little help with my 2008 335i 6MT
Yesterday on the way to work I could feel my car surging. Aka rpm would randomly go up just a few hundred rpm but it was noticeable. I saw this at idle and could feel it happen while driving. The surge was not consistent and I took it on a few drives after and it did not happen again. Today on the way to work the rpms decided to cut out and drop. And for a split second there was no engine power. SES light came on for a quick second and then went away. This time I had my Cobb tuner and when the rpms cut I could see the hpfp psi shoot from 700 PSI to 1200 PSI. Happened twice and I turned around and garaged the car Codes present were ghost codes for a bad LPFP sensor(I've had this for years) another one was P26e1 mixture control. My recent maintenance has been new injectors(except 5&6 where I installed some used index 11s) and a valve cover gasket. Any ideas? I'm thinking the last two injectors need to be changed or possibly a new hpfp might be in order? Edit: car is making boost just fine. So I don't think it's a vacuum leak. Starts up just fine, no long cranks
