Upgraded LPFP sensor...will it work with the original line?
So I'm in the middle of my HPFP swap. I figured I would replace the HPFP and LPFP sensors while I was in there.
The new LPFP sensor is an "upgraded" one that has a pointed AN type end, where the oem one had a flat end that used an oring to seal. After searching online....it sounds like there is also an upgraded LPFP fuel line that mates up with the new AN type end on the new upgraded LPFP sensor.......but some guys are just putting the oring from the old sensor onto the new one...and installing it in the oem metal fuel line. What's the right was to do it? Can I install the updated LPFP sensor in my original hard line as long as I use the oring to seal it? Or is the right way to replace that section of fuel line so that an oring isn't needed? Any advice would be great!!
