Since you have a 6AT and Not a 7DCT your 4th gear is close to 1:1 ratio. On the dyno you will want to use 4th gear to do the dyno pulls.

Correct. 4th gear for 6 speed cars. I'm in the middle of writing a how-to for n55 dyno testing. Almost done...

On the dyno it won't matter if you have an XI or RWD. If you have a MT you will dyno in 4th gear.

I see. Well, I dynoed my car in 4th gear and then in 5th. I got higher numbers in 5th. The same with E92 M3 MT.

On multiple dynojets I've been on, the XI FREAKSSSS out if you use 4th gear. (yes traction control completely off etc ). On the other hand, it works perfectly fine during 3rd gear pulls.

Not bad results Shiv, I must say I am happy I am an N54 owner though.

Nice runs..

Definitely a VERY different power curve then the N54 for sure.. I can see turbo upgrades being very popular for this baby.

Hey Shiv,

I did some logs yesterday and my fuel pressure seems to be low at at low rpm then climbs up after 5-6k. Is that normal. Its around 3.3-3.6 from 2k-5k then starts to climb slowly up to 4.1 at high rpm.

On your log it seems that your fuel pressure stays around 4 straight across.

Also from 2k-5k the car feels sluggish then it really picks up after 5k. I also noticed on some of my logs when I would give it 100% throttle from 2k rpm CAN dbw throttle wouldn't show 100% until 4-5k and the car would be hesitant.

I would do the print screen but I don't know how since I'm using windows on my Mac laptop.

Also on my first log of the night it was about 4 straight across. Then as I started doing more logs I would notice that it would lose fuel pressure slowly as I continued logging. All runs were done from 3rd gear in a 6at.

Well, the torque numbers are pretty amazing. Many thanks for posting.

Am about to install my Procede V5 this weekend (first tune on the car).

I have read a bunch about the traction control feature (spark retard) on the N54 Procede. Can anyone explain whether this feature works the same way on the N55 maps? (could not find a clear answer on other posts).

Since I have the stock 18s and no LSD, I am assuming wheelspin will be an issue, and this could help. Thanks for any guidance.

My log is when running 3-21 beta maps (see list of mods in 1st post) which i have not released. They have different fuel pressure mapping (less pressure above 5500rpn) than the 3-20 maps posted publicly. They also use a different load reference (manifold pressure sensor vs charge pressure sensor) which greatly improves fuel, ignition and boost mapping accuracy. It makes the same power as the 3-20 maps on the dyno. Just better drivability. I'll release them after more testing.

I almost never run what is released. Our testing/development schedule always keeps us a release ahead of our customers

That's great to know...

As long as it's nothing negative that can cause damage to the engine its cool.

Seems more like and anti top speed code...with a vibration sensor.

Shiv,

How much are you selling the charge pipes for with out the meth kit?

Is it too big of a diameter to run when not running meth?
