i will say they are tune related because on map 0 (bypass) I get no issues.

You should update your dme and redyno your intake. I've read from both tuners that said gains are likely to "disappear" since the dme is using maf a little differently now.

Also, charge pipe before/after dynos.

Calvin, you seem to have a communication issue with Shiv then because I've been experiencing all kinds of issues with v5 on my N55 since december. He's well aware of these issues and many emails and txt msgs have been sent, back and forth. Ernie is having some of the same issues I am now.

that's why i'm trying to figure out what software i have.
it's updated just don't know if it's 2.4.0, 2.41, 2.42 or 2.43.


i'm gonna redyno the the intake soon.
the Berk DP made some pretty good numbers -

You know when i first dyno'd with my foam filter.
the numbers where high and when i redyno'd - I literally
got the update the week before. and the numbers were
low.

Well the parameter for the MAF must of changed look at

I haven't heard anything from Ernie other than the CEL being on. He says the car is driving better since the DME update. I just need to know what his code is before i can resolve it. Have you gotten any DME updates recently? If you are running old software, it may be worth updating since it addresses a few known issues.

Update?

Bumping an old thread, because there is so little action over here on the n55 forum...

I was inspecting the log of that 15psi run, a lot of thing have changed since that run, DME software update, map tweaks, meth (soon)... I can't wait to see an equivalent comparison of boost value (stock, 12-15psi) vs hp/tq and their logs.

I see that in the 15psi run logged here in late March (post #1) the timings are a bit lower (0 to 7) than expected currently (7-10 through the pull with 94 octane and low IAT) so there is room for some more hp/tq already. Also there was talk lately about more ignition advance (other conditions permitting, cold night or meth, enough fuel, rev2b/3, etc).

Its all probably in the work and planned for very soon, I just can't wait to see this
