I have a 07 e92 coupe. Currently have 265/35/19 rears on a 19/9.5 et 22 Accidentally ordered a pair of 275/35/19.
If I roll the quarters any chance they will fit. I'm lowered on bilstein and have attached a shot of my current set up.[IMG]undefined[/IMG]

35 series tire in the rear is wrong period. Although a hassle I would send the tires back and get either 265/30 or 275/30/19. I take it you're running a 35 series tire up front as well? ET22 is pretty aggressive... Look around plenty of info about this already.

Whats wrong with doing a 275/35/19 tire?

If the overall diameter matches with the fronts and they fit without rubbing, then there is nothing wrong with having some extra meat.

A 275/35 is not the same diameter as a 235/35....

Doesn't matter too much if the OD matches the fronts on a RWD car. OP, I'd worry about 275/35, but mainly because you have both a low offset wheel and you're lowered.

Not sure where you got the 235/35 front size from since that wasn't stated in this thread but yes there is a 1.1" OD difference between these two tires and that will look odd. This COULD cause issues with DSC but I've done it on my e39 (factory front size is already about half an inch taller than rear, increased the difference to about an inch) with no issues.

There's nothing wrong with a 265/35; that's the factory M3 size and I ran it on my e92 rear for a while with no issues (not rolled). Switched to 255 street tires and still run a 35 profile because I like the look and theres absolutely nothing wrong with a 35 profile in the rear. It's kind of an oversimplification to say that, since the profile is a ratio of the width, so in and off itself '35 profile' means nothing in terms of sidewall height.

Well most people run a 234 or 245 tire in the front so I was assuming. My point was that in general a 275/35/19 is not a common size used and if you're buying new tires why settle for something that is less than perfect.

Sure if he was running a 40 series tire up front. Which I highly doubt. 40 series on a 19" wheel would be interesting. I'll say it again. If you're spending the money on new rubber do it right. Might be a little hassle to send those tires back but worth it in the long run.

I ended up getting the 275 35 19 tire reimbursed for free through amazon since the third part member still delivered the tires despite my canceling the order.
So if I understand 275 35 19 would not work on a 9.5 e22. but a 275 30 might.

what size is your front tire and wheel?

Overall diameter of 275/35 would be 21mm greater than the diameter of the 245/35

So with that said it’s not a good idea to run that setup.

If you run a 275/30 then the 245/35 will be 6.5mm larger in overall diameter. This is a much better option.

Overall tire size is one thing. Offset and wheel width are another that must be taken in consideration. I would recommend you reach out to apex wheels vendor here and ask them. They are pros when it comes to this.
