Nj emission test

Emission due this month.. will i pass even if my evap sytem is not complete?

Installed area 74 and ive been driving for over 100 miles and still not ready/complete.. everything else are ready..

about to do the same.. have you tried doing the steps in this thread...

the first step is supposed to be for the evap

edit: forgot to mention make sure AC and front defroster is on for the first step (saw this on Vehicular DIY u tube channel)

You are allowed 1 non-ready monitor, with exceptions for cat monitors. Those need to be ready.

EVAP has historically been a pain to set readiness for and it is most often the one that is not ready for inspection.

It requires multiple, very specific drive cycles to set.
