Emission due this month.. will i pass even if my evap sytem is not complete?

Installed area 74 and ive been driving for over 100 miles and still not ready/complete.. everything else are ready..

the first step is supposed to be for the evap

edit: forgot to mention make sure AC and front defroster is on for the first step (saw this on Vehicular DIY u tube channel)

You are allowed 1 non-ready monitor, with exceptions for cat monitors. Those need to be ready.

EVAP has historically been a pain to set readiness for and it is most often the one that is not ready for inspection.

It requires multiple, very specific drive cycles to set.

I am interested in this, but my question to you is: how do I pass the visual check? Won't the inspection staff just see that there are no cats under the car? Or can they not see the cats when checking the underside with the camera?

I need to get inspected in NJ
