ok, then let me rephrase my question a little bit..w/ the turbo upgrade i'm considering, the general consensus is 550whp. if my car was, in fact, making 550whp on pump gas & i added meth, i'm assuming it would put the car around 600whp, is it a legit concern that at 600whp things are going to start breaking, IE: rear end, tranny, etc..Would it be cheaper & safer in the long run to keep the meth out & be happy w/ the added power on pump from the turbos..

If you really wanted to stay at your estimated figure, you could always run meth and use a lower boost map... essentially making it "easier" on your engine/turbos to make that same power.

that's a good point! unfortunately, my brain just doesn't work logically when it comes to things like that, lol, if i have something that could potentially make an extra xxwhp the thought doesn't even cross my mind to not utilize it's potential! but i definitely could run a lower map & then throw on the higher maps when the occasion arises..

Meth > pump gas... Meth will clean better, keep things cooler, etc. The benefits of running it over pump gas are there, even if your running it on a lower map, cleaner, cooler, better power as you would on a higher boost/map, with a lower map/boost.
Its candy!

worst case scenario, you could always mount in the engine bay in the window washer fluid reservoir, you would have to refill the tank more often but it is a possibility in case it doesn't fit..

wow that might work...As earlier in my post I meant the back of the trunk and not the sides, the sides are taken up by the convertible top, so in essence I only have space for something that is less than 10 inches in height, which makes the 2.5 gallon tank a good possibility!!

Remember this gives incredible consistency to the car beyond just I can make xxx rwhp on a glory run. You have extremely consist and low IATs that nearly eliminate heat soak so the back to back power is almost the exact same with water/methanol. That alone makes the mod worth it on any turbo car.

I went with Snow Performance because their reputation is so good in the water/methanol community. Snow has an exclusive on the SHO (220 psi adjustable up to 270 psi) pump. It is the most powerful water/methanol pump on the market with more seals (longer life) and large heat sink all to increase its life. Their controller is very intuitive and their design concept is based around ease to the end user. No large maps to dive into, just punch in or dial in numbers and their algorithms will make the changes. In addition Snow's controller displays flow percent, boost, and IDC. You can use it not only for methanol purposes, but it is also a boost gauge that is a "T" off the manifold (so it is accurate). Snow's Stage 3G controller can also command multiple nozzles simultaneously under different progressive conditions. This allows great atomization and superb flexibilty.Their hardware has had no problems with cracks or breaks, their nozzles have screens built into the elbows, etc. Their failsafe called SafeInjection is so easy to work with and very versatile. You can even pick up a flow gauge and it is ready to roll because SafeInjection already has the flow meter built in.

Snow Performance just seemed to me a logical choice.

I know you can fit it in the little plastic area, but I believe that is where the stock amp is located. I didn't choose that spot only because I would want to relocate the amp in case something happened to leak. The spot I chose is void of any electronics.
