I definitely prefer the first pic. By far. 189 on a coupe gets my vote, just get some spacers for the rear.

if it has to be 18s id say def get some without a lip and drop your car alot. They will look bigger with no lip. I must warn you though i wanted the same thing when i first got my car and i rolled on 18s for almost a year and hated looking at them. I had beyern mesh wheels in black. Now i picked up some 19s and they look a thousand times better. But good luck with your decision man.

More great suggestions. I like the look of 19s too but I really want to stay with 18s for the better ride and less expensive tires etc. On top of that, many of the roads here in SATX are horrible so bent rims are definitely a concern for me. I may do a drop at some point but I really don't mind the way the stock set up sits. I don't really have excesive wheel gap IMHO.

Gunmetal

Advan RS are ugly. They look better on Mitsubishi Evo or Subaru WRX.

Get some BBS, Breyton GTS or V710s. They look best on a E90

The O.Z. Ultraleggera and Forgestar f14 can both be gotten for under $1500, and both are light with no lip. There are lots of pictures of both on the forum. They are both light enough to go with 19in in my opinion (for what ever that's worth)...

I prefer OEM, so my vote goes for the 269s in 18s. I have them in 19s, and love them.

Which color rims?

Hey guys, I'm finally getting around to fixing the curb rash on my rims from the previous owner.

I have to paint them, and I've pretty much narrowed the choices of paint down to the same stock color that came on the car, and a gunmetal color that is a very similar color to the body of the car itself.

Which do you guys think are better? I'm looking to paint them this week, so fast responses are appreciated!

Check out the pics and let me know what you guys think.

Thanks in advance!

+1 on the V710s. The 18"s look bigger than they are because of the spoke design- it fills up the wheel well nicely as shown by Daya's gunmetal picture.
