I wish lol
Actually thanks to you i have found the wheel for £267 all in from playseat.com Not the cheapest. But at least i should have it for the weekend Stupid thing was i emailed them 3 times last week about getting a deal on seat etc. and they only quoted the rrp. Then today they've dropped the price by £50 on the steering wheel. |

Is there any actual difference between the G27 and G25, considering when I bought the G25 last year, it was around £125 off Amazon and the G27 is selling for nearly double that amount.

The G25 went for as low as £99 last year on play.com when they were clearing stock for the G27's release. I didn't actually see it myself because i wasn't looking for a steering wheel having never enjoyed using the cheapies i had with my Xbox (orig). But with GT5 i'm re-living my youth (well early 20's) with GT on the playstation. And everyone has raved about using the G25/7 with GT5. You'll see G25's going for £200 plus on ebay 2nd hand |

Picked up a copy yesterday, did about three hours last night, looks good so far, plenty of different racing types, details on the tracks look lush, handling feels good on the boggo basic cars you get at first.

First impressions only using the pad.
Shadows are AWFUL - sort it out Sony - like watching a Commodore 64! Gameplay is the same as prologue - damage is nearly non existant - can ram cars at 80 mph when they are doing 20 and they just carry on as if nothing happened. Nice choice of cars but a lot of them do not have interior views so you are forced to use either external, bonnet or bumper cam. Not exactly realistic! Use of the PS eye as a head tracking device is still to be tested by me - maybe tonight. Obviously this will only work on the cars that have interiors. Sound is ok - not great. Graphics are good until you get to the original GT tracks, they just appear to have been ported. Flat expanses of mushy textures on the banks of the spectator areas for an example. So far - I still prefer Forza but I haven't tried my g25 and seat yet! PS - love the go-karts - great fun!

You can get access to the weather and premium cars instantly by playing the arcade part. I raced Suzuka with that Citroen concept effort. The internal view was amazing and I couldn't see a thing because of all the spray etc. No puddles apparent on the track though and no reflections either??
I have a gameracer chair

I purposely didn't go into the Arcade level as it always feel an anti climax when you have to go back to lesser cars in the GT section, but worth knowing.
One thing I couldn't work out was, how to delete the rear view mirror from the screen? |

Epic fail for me
Received my order from Amazon, but when i took the box out of the Amazon packaging, it was all ripped and damaged and looked like it had been through a washing machine. So just on the phone to Amazon now asking for them to send me another for tommorrow |

Shopto have always been good for me - cheap - easy to use and get games on time or before release.
