Total joke. Get the army in and kick some arse. You waive your 'human rights' the minute you stop acting human.
I'm getting so angry. I agree with all that has been said on this thread. This country needs to get a grip and get some control. It's the old 80/20 Pareto Law. 20% of the population are scum and make this country shite. 80% of the population are 'normal' law abiding citizens and we need to make a stand. Get rid of the 20% and 'Great' Britain would be great again. |

I dread to think what the car and home insurance premium will costs in London next month
So glad i chose not to live in London. I have to say i am not a big fan of the police but in this circumstances i don't think they are at fault..these people are just using it as an excuse! If the prisons are not big enough when they do arrest this looters and vandalisers, they should all be made to do community hours.. |

Just watching croydon burning... and feeling really sad. The shop they are showing on fire has been there from as far back as i can remember having lived there for nearly 30 yrs.
Some poor folks have just lots their lives work and others their jobs tonight becuase of the action of a few. They need to be made an example of... but no.. prob community service. Getting really angry here.

I'm getting fed up with the BBC calling them protesters - they're not protesting anything, they're just criminal scumbags.

Its getting ridiculous now. People must be terrified in those areas. Those running around with balaclavas and hoodies need to be taken out one way or another.

Failing that, tear gas? The Army? That said, zltm89, you aren't actually serious about using live rounds, are you? I really hope not. Mike. |

Tear gas is such an easy solution..... forming a cordon has achieved precisely fuck all.

I cannot believe this is happening in MY/OUR country.
It is like a foreign land completely surreal, something like this happens in third world countries, the UK will become a laughing stock. |

Never lived in Croydon, but not faraway. I can't believe they just allowed it to burn to the ground!

Debenhams and Matalan are now ablaze as well apparently. Retail parks on the Purley Way are being targetted too.
