How often do you change car??

Hi guys just thought I would do a little survey type thread.

1. How often do you change car?
2. What makes you change it as often as you do?

Me...I change every 1-2yrs coz i get bored of the interior. I hate that fact that I memorize where each and every button is....then I like to change car. I would even get bored of a BUgatti Veyron!

about every 1-2 years here as well. I like the feel of the new brakes. Once I have to get them done I feel like getting a new car it will never be the same.

im 21 and on my 7th car already... I got sick of my other cars very easily. i dont think ill get sick of the beamer tho. i absolutely LOVE it! .. in the past i have had 2 mustangs (gt, mach1).. needed luxury so i went for the Acura TL then the IS250. Acura was second best. lexus was slow and boring. loveeee my e90 <333

We were just discussing this on the Audi forum, and about how old we were too....

I'm 35 and I have a 3.2 quattro avant.

Not sure how many Audis I have had??

Last one was a 2005 S4 avant and I hated it, absolutely hated it and said I would never buy another one again, but ended up with the 3.2 A6, in tiptronic guise and not expecting it to be anything other than a comfy mile muncher it works and works well.

Previous Audis...

S4 Avant
A6 1.9tdi sport avant
3.0 cab sport
A3 DSG S-Line
A4 2.5tdi sport avant
A2 1.4tdi (90ps) Sport (great little city car)
A4 1.9tdi sport avant
A4 1.9tdi saloon (1st Audi)

Also had a Merc ML270cdi Inspiration (terrible terrible bus!) and a Mercedes E320 elegance esate which was really nice.

Had a couple of BMWs too...

M3 SMG (still got that now)
320d M-Sport touring (swapped that for the A6 in Feb as I needed more room)
E30 325i (sold recently as 3rd insurance and no where to park it got too much, but a real drivers car which teaches you everything about handling a car)
335i M-Sport touring
120d M-Sport (best all round car I have owned to date)
M3 CSL (I regret selling every day)
535d sport touring (remapped and pretty quick)
320d touring
530i sport saloon (E39 shape - brother still has it with 140k miles on it and it is arguably the best BMW ever made)
528i SE
318Ti compact E46 (my first BMW)

I tend to get bored after 6 months, and by 10 months I'm itching to change.

However, I never wanted to get rid of the CSL, but £7k in bills in one month made me decide that I couldn't afford to keep it and really enjoy it.

And again I am nearly at a year with the current M3 and loving it more than ever, the only car I would really swap it for right now is a 997 C2S DCT , but is it worth paying another £50k to get into one?? I don't think so myself.

Also having the Audi A6 avant and the M3 is a great combo, when the M3 bores me I use the Audi for a few days, and then the M3 appeals more than ever!

This thread makes me feel so much better!! I thought I was going looney changing cars so often! But its not just me!! PHEW!! Ok i'd like to take this thread a little further if thats ok...and that is to add as Gizze said...1. Age and 2. How do u change car..like i go from 2nd hand to 2nd hand so i usually have to save up the difference or some of it then finance the rest!! Its insane!! ends up costing so much!! I'm 23 and only been driving since 19 and the 320D coupe '08 is my 6th car...but i've always wanted to have a comfortable, reliable cruiser and 1 race machine...which is finally the set up i have. my other car as u may have read in my other posts is a 430hp GT4 that i use on track

Whatever anyone says about torque etc the noise of a v8/v10 is spinetingling in comparison.
