FS in SoCal: factory TPMS set(4) sensors 2006-2009 E90/92
Editing this old thread to post my second set of tps monitors. These came off of style 230 wheels. These I believe are the newer design - they were different size/fitmnet than what came on my 2009 stock m sport 18” wheels. I think they may be late model 09 or 10. I will check the part number and post back here. NOTE: BMW changed their sensors for MY 2010... I was planning on using these on the style 230 wheels I purchased, but they were not compatible. $80 shipped. $70 picked up in San Diego Last edited by drunkentrader; 01-27-2019 at 01:10 PM.. |

I bought some used style 230's that supposedly also came off a 2009 335i and they wouldnt fit(the style 230 valve stem holes were too large) -- so if the reason yours do not fit is because they are too wide in diameter, these may be the ones..
i only did about 5 mins of research on the matter(when I was at the tire shop) - but the only info i could really find was that in 2010 they made a change and have no idea weather its a model year production issue or if it is LCI vs pre LCI change. |

I just edited my first post with a picture and some info i found from searching the part number.. i still cannot confirm any fitment -- but can tell you that if yours would not fit because the stems were too wide in diameter, then my best guess is that you need this style.

^sorry, I better just grab the part numbers. The ones that came off my 09 coupe were not a match. These came on a set of wheels I swapped from another 335i owner.. pretty sure his were from a 2010 model.

I believe 2010 and up had difference sensors. Oddly 2009 were LCI model year but the TMPS were pre lci sensor. I currently have a set for sell for 2010 and up on this forum. Btw, are you including the valve stems too?
If it was pre lci I would have taken these too.

FYI, the change happened starting with an 09/09 production date. I have a 2010 built on 09/09 and researched this quite a bit when shopping sensors for a second set of wheels. It really is confusing, and many of the online references are wrong.
