That sucks, but glad you have it figured out! FYI, my Xdrive also has the low rise arm like yours. Pure sent me out the correct one the first time.

Good to know! I wonder if that's just an x-drive thing because of different routing of the coolant hoses.

I am guessing that it is. Keep us updated on your progress and if you take it to the track. I am very curious to see some Xdrive numbers on the PS2!

Will do! The new turbo should be here Wednesday and will hopefully go in at the end of the week. I'll definitely take it to the track this summer as well!

I love mine too. I have a 2012 e92 335i. Fbo, pure s2, fuelit stage 2. Cobb flash and jb4. it's a monster. took some dialing in but it's a beast. I had misfiring issues at first, but once i replaced the spark plugs and gapped at .018. worked like a charm.

It's a beast for sure. Runs like a dream too. Just got it protuned and since then I haven't had any issues. Still couldn't help myself and ordered a new M3 though...so it'll be up for sale in the next few weeks. Whoever buys it though gets a turn key monster!

I think I ran into a misfire issue at high RPM this weekend. Can I pick your brain a bit?

What psi and fuel mixture were you running?
Was it happening at high RPM?
What were the symptoms that led you to diagnose it as misfires?
Which plugs did you go with?

We can use m4 spark plugs? I thought n20 plugs were preferred. Are the m4 plugs a step colder than n55 plugs?

FYI guys, we have found a lot of problems with M4 plugs. Cracked porcelain, separated porcelain with exhaust gas coming through up to the coil, causing misfires, etc. So far, N20 plugs gapped to 0.020" seem to be the way to go. I even have N20 plugs in my M4

Great info thanks for sharing. I planned to pick the N20s up in a couple thousand miles.

Let's link up in May. I'll be MIA for a period starting this week for my wedding. When I come back, we can take a peak at that hybrid snail!
