Are you going to just switch out the springs and keep oem shocks? I am planning on lowering also but I am not sure if installing aftermarket springs will destroy rest of oem suspension.

I just want to switch up the springs. I just don't want to go super low tho. I wanna get rid of that gap.

Same. I looked up and got interest in Tein S. Tech springs and they look decent, the drop is 1 inch - 1.5 inches. Am practically convinced to get them just am unsure if it is a bad decision to only switch springs

I'm thinking of maybe getting H&R 1.3 F & 1.2 R.

Factory shocks will wear pretty quickly if only doing springs. XIs def need a little drop though.

Nice wheels and tires. I give them about 1 day until they are damaged by a pothole on NYC roads. But yeah, need to match springs and shocks if changing ride height.

I actually live in Nj. Roads aren't that bad by me. Now I'm debating on some coilovers. I'm so lost. Lol

At 70 K, I would think you do a refresh and replace both the shocks/struts and the springs. Several good options - Koni with H&R, Koni FSD kit with Eibach, Bilstein B12 kit with Eibach.

I am also researching and have not pulled the trigger.

Let us know what you decide and your impressions.

The whole reason why I got them was to go low and these are prob the lowest coilovers you can do it with esp, because it's a xi as well.
